Thiaga Rajan Muthusamy, an engineer by profession holding Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (UPM) and Masters in Engineering (UM). He has gained seven years of technical and managerial level working experience in multinational corporations namely Motorola and NEC. His part-time career as news caster with RTM-TV2 since 1996 has given him the opportunity to acquire and expand his knowledge in media industry especially in news reporting, editing, news presentation and broadcasting.
His vast experience in the field has mooted him to venture into media business in 2003 and has made significant contribution in setting up and realizing the vision and mission of Vanakkam Malaysia Dotcom Sdn Bhd. Currently he is the Executive Director of the organization, which owns and manages the www.vanakkammalaysia.com online bilingual daily.
He is an active propagator of the vision of developing a “thinking society”. As such he has taken much efforts and time to initiate community based projects in personal capacity and in collaboration with various groups that would promote analytical, creative and innovative thinking. He has given talks to various levels of people on subjects related to media, public speaking, personal and community development.
He strongly believes that oratory skill is not a tool to attract others but it is a medium to make others to think.
